conformance checker

The conformance checker is based off of the work by Rozinat and van der Aalst. The ones I'm aware of are:
Conformance checking of processes based on monitoring real behavior
and
Evaluating the quality of discovered process models
I also recommend reading Weerdt's paper: A mult-dimensional quality assessment of state-of-the-art process discovery algorithms using real-life event logs
and the Cobefra system by Broucke: http://processmining.be/cobefra/ -
Hi,
The current conformance checker is build by Arya Adriansyah, see for instance his PhD thesis: "Aligning observed and modeled behavior / Arya Adriansyah"
http://dx.doi.org/10.6100/IR770080
This is also explained, in simpler terms, in both the Coursera MOOC (https://www.coursera.org/learn/procmin/) and the FutureLearn MOOC (https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/process-mining/).
