Evaluate PROM 5 online

edited July 2010 in ProM5
Hi all, Minseok has prepared a PROM 5 image in SHARE (see http://fmt.cs.utwente.nl/redmine/wiki/grabats/SHARE). You can now evaluate PROM 5 online, without affecting your local PROM installation: http://is.tm.tue.nl/staff/pvgorp/share/?page=ConfigureNewSession&vdi=XP_PROM5.0.vdi

Kind regards,

  • I tried it and it works!

Even though its a good way to test ProM 5.1 it would be even better to test the (working) 'newProM' nightly builds this way. If that would be possible that would be great!!!

  • I tried it too, and it didn't work:

RDP clients of version 6.0.6001 (XP SP2) not supported.
Please use an older version instead.

Possibly, this is due to the fact that I have a Vista 64 OS (?)
Did anybody else try this on a Vista machine?
  • It didn't work for me at first either on Windows XP. For Windows there appears to be a version issue with the RDP client as indicated when the session is created:
"RDP clients of version 6.0.6001 (XP SP2) not supported.
Please use an older version instead."

In the message there is a link to
    http://is.tm.tue.nl/staff/pvgorp/share/rdp52_win2003_sp1.zip
where an older version can be downloaded.
I suppose Vista also uses a 'too new' version of the RDP client for SHARE.

    Hope this helps,
