Dear @hameede ,1) K.B. Lassen and W.M.P. van der Aalst, "Complexity Metrics for Workflow Nets," Information and Software Technology, vol. 51, iss. 3, pp. 610-626, 2009.2) H. M. W. Verbeek, T. Basten, and W. M. P. van der Aalst, “Diagnosing workflow processes using woflan,” The computer journal, vol. 44, iss. 4, pp. 246-279, 2001.3) Adriansyah, A. (2014). "Aligning observed and modeled behavior." Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. https://doi.org/10.6100/IR770080.I'm not 100% sure on 3), the reference listed is to the PhD thesis of Arya Adriansyah, which contains sections on how to measure precision and generalization using alignments. This is also what the plugin uses. However, there are some later papers by Arya on this (see https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=kZpQttgAAAAJ&hl=nl), but I guess they are based on the thesis.Kind regards,Eric.
