organizational extension in XES
Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding the XES format, more precisely the organizational extension.
I followed the link https://www.xes-standard.org/_media/xes/xesstandarddefinition-2.0.pdf and I generated a log with "role" extension, however, I have some issue with that.
So, my question is there any event log that I can download with the "role" extension?
I'm looking at this link https://data.4tu.nl/browse but it is huge and I don't how to search it properly.
Thanks in advance,
Rawan

Hi Rawan,Please look for the BPI Challenge 2013 data set. Both the incidents and the closed problems logs contain events with the "org:role" attribute.Note that "role" is an attribute as declared by the organizational ("org") extension. As such, when the "org" extension is declared, the "org:role" attribute has a fixed meaning: the (functional) role of the resource that triggered the event. In contrast, the meaning of the "org:group" attribute is the (organizational) group of that resource. Roles correspond more to a job description (like secretary, lecturer, manager, ...) whereas groups correspond to the organizational entity one is working in (sales, production, HR, ...).Kind regards,Eric.
