Execute algorithm - Help

Hello,

can someone indicate me material to learn how to execute and or read the codes of algorithms in ProM?

Hi,

There is no definite material on the codes of the algorithms in ProM. Developers have a lot of freedom to develop the algorithms in the way they see fit. That means that the style of the algorithms may differ per developer.

To execute an algorithm I would propose to use Eclipse, as described on https://svn.win.tue.nl/trac/prom/wiki/Contribute. By running ProM in debug mode, you can then set breakpoints and step through the code.

If you have detailed questions on certain algorithms, I suggest that you (try to) contact the developer of the algorithm directly. On https://svn.win.tue.nl/trac/prom/wiki/ProM610/Plugins and https://svn.win.tue.nl/trac/prom/wiki/ProM610/Variants you will find two lists of all plug-ins and plug-in variants as they exist in ProM 6.10, together with the corresponding package name and name of the lead developer.
