how to manually create an ideal process model?
I want to apply conformance checking on real log data that I have. From what I have read, it is necessary to first determine a process model and then replay the log on the model. This model can be discovered from the log, being generated as a Petri net, for example. What I need to know is how do I generate an idealized model, where I determine the sequence of activities? I want to use this ideal model to measure fitness from different cutouts of the original log on it.

Hi genivan,
I think you can try different discovery plugins and parameters, and see if you can derive an ideal model. Another solution is that you can use the tool WoPeD to design a Petri net manually based on the knowledge of the process or a discovered but non-ideal model.Guangming Li
