Hi,

In order to find the Simplicity dimension, I need togo back to ProM 5.2. However, my logs are in .xes format. Is there any way to use these log file in ProM 5.2 ? Thanks !!

Regards,

Shital

  • Dear Shital,

ProM 5 cannot load/recognize .xes files. An approach would be to load your XES file in ProM 6 and then export it as an MXML file, which can be loaded into ProM 5.

We should however add simplicity measures on Petri nets in ProM 6 since it currently is a missing quality dimension.

Note that all 4 quality dimensions are implemented for process trees (refer to my PhD thesis and the Evolutionary Tree Miner package).

  • Many Thanks, Joos for being always available for us !!

  • I have the same issue that Shital has, I have exported my XES file as an MXML file, but when I load it in ProM 5, I get a blank page. What make it so.
  • Would it be possible for you to share (parts of) the XES and the MXML file?

    Kind regards,
    Eric.
