Make the Trace survive in Object Centric PM
In the log extraction scripts that I am currently developing, I'm producing - as output - the process log in several formats, OCEL is one of them. I have introduced - among the objects traced in the log, the Trace.
Each event is related to the Trace it belongs to. In my current extractions, each Event is associated to a single Trace, but this is not mandatory: if the extraction covers a wider process area, it is possible that a single Event could be related to several Traces. The linked picture shows a screenshot from the OCELOT tool, with the objects traced in one log.
